Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hello All,
I posted my matrimony issue few weeks back. Since my wife left me 2months back with 3yr old kid without informing me and later she informed that she is at her parents home. My relation is very bad since we got married. Bottom line is that I dont trust my wife and her parents. They are very abusive and unacceptable to any educated family. I am doing compromise on everything but really dont know till what i can manage all this.
Now I come to my question, As Marriage Laws Amendment Bill going to be presented in the monsoon session and most probably it will become law.
It has been proposed to empower the courts to decide the compensation amount from the husband's inherited and inheritable property for the wife and children once the marriage legally ends.
I have home in Delhi on my name which was bought with my own hard earn money before marriage. But looking to the current situation of my marriage i am very worried about this new law. Law is only thinking of women but what about if women are on the urge to break the marriage. How can law maker think that men are always culprits? It could be opposite also but irony is there are no such laws to protect the misuse of such laws. Please suggest how I can save my house. Should I transfer it to my father or mother? or is there any other way also to protect?

Dear Friend,
As already advised earlier, Life is all about multi-tasking. You should always strive to manage your home, your family, your personal friends, your job, your office colleagues and give each one its due. Taking your marriage to the doorstep of the Court will affect the life of your daughter more than your wife, as your daughter will miss out on the grooming that she deserves of her father. Howsoever tough your in laws try to behave with you, you should fight and withstand their advances till such time that your wife realizes her own mistakes and she is forced to follow you.
Regards,
