Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
I have two brother and one sister .I am the younger .my elder brother is married and have no childrens his wife stayes with her parents since two years and my elder brother stayes with us and all her marrage furnitures is in our house there is no divorse my brother is in need of money and my father has only one option to sell the property and give
the shared money to him.
My question is can my father make a gift of his property to me in leu of money.
If there will be any problem because my brother wife merrage furnitures is in our house.

Dear Sir / Madam,
If you elder brother is in need of money, he should sell off all the marriage furniture. It in no way implies that your parents should transfer the property in your name. That call id to be taken by your parents, at a time they deem fit and appropriate.
