Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
I have given a cheque by a builder towards my refund against cancellation of booked flat as no progress in project made by him since last 8 months and he has failed to purchased the land. Now the cheques is bounced due to in-sufficient fund in 01.11.13 can i file a case under section 138 kindly suggest me step to step detailed procedure .

no you cant file a case yet. you have to give notice of dishonour of cheque within 1 month from the date of intimation of dishonour.In your case the date has lapsed. Represent the cheque and then send a notice. for further clarification contact 9312411481
