Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

In civil suit i am the defendant and have to file counter to a petition filed by plaintiff. i am party in person in the suit. pl. advice

1- the affidavit part can both the defendants file single affidavit stating that i am giving afidavit on behalf of defendant no . 2 also.

2- can i file couter stating heading -counter on behalf of defendants 1 & 2.

3- should i attest the affidavit by notary / advocate.
