dear sir i was arrest for a cheating case in may 2011. newpaper agency published a wrong news about me and with any proof. now on august 2013 i am discharged by the magistrate court. now can i file a civil demage defamation case for spoiling my name is there any time limit and any court fees has to paid in city civil court please tell me know. some one is saying there is three years time limit for afilling a defamtion case in civil court for compensation of amount.
since i was discharged on august 2013. and i need a lawyer in bangalore

Dear Sir / Madam,
There is no waiting period for filing a civil defamation suit. It can be filed immediately pressing for the requisite compensation charges against the opponents.
