Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Dear Sir - we are settled in Bangalore for the last 13yrs and but my hometown is in Tamil Nadu.. We have land dispute with a person in my hometown(Tamil Nadu) who has attached our land for the money 50k we need to pay for him...all this happened without our knowledge as we did not get any notices or summons. we have decided to file a case in Bangalore to recover our land and we are ready to pay our debt to him through court..my questions are 1. is it appropriate to file a case in Bangalore for the land located in another state ie., Tamil Nadu? 2.what will be your advise for this situation?

your case will be filed in tamilnadu as no cause of action took place in Banglore.just check wether the land was taken by him pursuant to a court order. If yes take steps to join the proceedings there.
