Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Doubt about agriculture land:

We cultivate agriculture crop in one land for more than 50 years, that land patta name is my grand father brother name.their cultivate land is in my grand father name.

Now they ask their patta land. But we refuse to give that land. We having the following documents for the land we using now

1. 50 yearsTax pay for that land to government.

2.Electric service we using for that land.

3.Some of relatives ready to tell about the land using periods.

Whether the land belongs to me if i put case in court.

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should further substantiate your claim with your grandfather's Will and other evidence. But if the land is in the joint names of your grandfather and his brother in the record of the Tehsildar / District Registrar, it implies that they both own a 50% share each in the land, so legal heirs rights arise accordingly. Pure usage and cultivation of the land since many years does not necessarily infer ownership.
