Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
we have a electricity connection in tamilnadu in the name of our Father.My father passed away in 2006,now we want to surrender the service. all the legal heirs signed the application. but the TNEB department officials refusing to disconnect the service. they are telling that somebody using the services they were not able to disconnect.officials doing all illegal activities. what do you?

FIle a RTI mentioning, what is the process of disconnection, when the person is death, in whose name the connection was. and also get a Death Certificate of your father.
Also file a Consumer complaint stating that the Electricity Department is not disconnecting the connection.
