Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
My father expired 2 years back and my mother is 80 years of age. We are 3 brothers and one sister. My father constructed a house (only ground floor) approximately 20 years back with 3 storied foundation. Thereafter, he requested all of us to build 1st floor and 2nd floor. Non of my brothers were agreed to build on it. Since I am the eldest son and serving in Army, my parents told me to build 1st floor as a moral duty being eldest son. Accordingly, as my responsibility I build 1st floor during 2002, for which my parents registered the roof of ground floor on my name and told to look after complete building after their demise. The land is actually on my mother's name, who is still alive and 80 years of age. She is also supportive to me. But I don't want to manipulate her.
I simply want to know, is there any legal right to claim Ground Floor in case any objection or disturbance from others siblings (brothers & sister) and what should I do to live in peace.

Dear Client,
A person who has no title can not transfer the title in some other persons name and therefore, the title, if that was registered in your name by your father, has no meaning at all. But the situation would be different if the roof rights would be handed over to you by your mother by a registered document.
