Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hi ,My father's had passed away 7 years ago, my mom stays with me, I have an elder brother who is 16 years elder to me, he is married and have 2 kids. I got married a year ago and I don't have any children yet. This is about my father's property, currently My mom has the sole right on my dad's property, and after my mom, me and my brother are supposed to share it half each.
But my brother is trying to file a claim that his son, my dad's grand child should also get an equal share in the property.
Please advice me, whether I have any chances to defend his claim. I want the property to be shared equally between my brother and me only.

the fathers property will be shared between you and your brother only. and if the suit for partition is filed by the grandson his share will be to the extent of his fathers share only.for further query called 9312411481.
