Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
I own a flat in coimbatore and I received a notice from owners association that I have pending maintenance amount to be paid for the period Feb 2013 to May 2013. Actually flat was handed over to me by the builder only on June 2013 with signed document and I have been paying the maintenance amount regularly since then. From association they threaten to disconnect water and electricity line if I refused to pay within stipulated time. Is their demand legally valid? What are the legal remedies I need to seek?

1) Discuss with the builder to pay. Else issue legal notice.
2) To avoid disconnection, u hv to first pay and then recover from the builder.
