Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in
If a flat is jointly purchased in the name of Mother & Elder Son, where mother is the first member. Mother dies.Will the flat be transfered in the name of Joint holder.There are also legal heirs, Father & two brothers.

No, the flat cannot be transferred in the name of joint holder; instead, all legal heirs of the deceased will be entitled to their share. In your case, you will get 1/2 + 1/8th share; other three will get 1/8th share each. In other words your share will be 10/16; and they three will get 6/16.
