Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
My grandmother gifted a land to my father,my father is having six sons & two daughters ,when he was alive he made a will in which he described that after his death only one son & one grandson of the second son will be the sole owner of the said land.I would like to know that other sons/daughter/grandson/granddaughter have any right on the above said land or not.

No other sons / daughter / grandson / granddaughter do not have any right in the land.
Grandmother is not a Common Male Ancestor, so the property cannot be said to be an Ancestral Property. Moreover the property of a female is her sole and absolute property. Hence, your grandmother could have bequeathed the property to your father and such bequest to your father, would confer your father absolute owner of the property. So your father is entitled to dispose off the land by way of his Will and such Will is valid.
Thus, the bequest as made by your father is absolutely valid and would not confer any right on other siblings.
