Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hello,i have one doubt pls clarify,My mother receive a share from ancestral property from her father (Important note: share receive from her father only),now my mom have four legal heirs(3 son+1 daughter)..my father died.....in this case mother not willing to give the share to all legal heirs she willing to gift the property to one son only.......i asked my mother,she said this property not comes under your father side,so that she is only independent owner of the above property...Is this right?... she said ancestral mean my father,father's father,father's father's father...My doubt is its right or wrong...What a meaning for ancestral and coparceners or co-owners...Pls reply

Dear Sir / Madam,
Your mother is right. As the sole owner of the property, she has the legal right to decide on its future ownership.
