Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in United Arab Emirates

hi,can my ex employer would be able to file any civil case against me once my visa is cancelled. Mine was limited visa and my visa was cancelled after the contract date. Now am im in india and want to go back on visit to dubai. But recently i came to know that ex employer is filing civil case against me. what is the time limit to file a civil case? How do i combat this situation ? please advise.

Dear Sir,

Do not go by hearsay nor rely on rumours from Office colleagues or your local friends in Dubai. You should look ahead to your new job assignment and not keep worrying about what your previous employer will do or not do. In fact, if you are back in Dubai again, you are in a better position to attend to and represent your case, in the highly unlikely event that your previous employers will file a case against you.
