Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hi...I got married in the year 2010. Since than my wife keeps going back to her native place and stays there for long months. I stay in Mumbai and work in a small company. Last time she went a year back and never came back. She has now sent a notice stating that i harass her and she is asking for rs.30 Lakhs and other amount related to alimony. She has not sent the notice to me in Mumbai but to my native place in Assam. I have not gone home for more than a Year, My parents are worried now. She has stopped talking to me for more than a year now.
What should be my next step? I am concerned for my parents health as my Mom is a high BP patient and my dad is retired and sick.
Please help and let me know if you need any other details. She has now picked up a Job with good salary in Assam. We have no children and she never liked any physical relationship with me.
I do not make too much money and i would like to close this ASAP ( though i know it always takes time).
Please advice as soon as possible for me to take the next step.
Regards,
