Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hi,
I wanted to know that my dad has opened an HUF account and consists of my brother name,my mother . Our name is not included. Now he wants consent from me being elder son to take a loan from ICICI against the said property. But the consent form also says that i do not have any rights or title on this property . Is this correct can i oppose the move. Once given consent do i loose the right on the title of the property.
ALso for my own safety can i also take their consent that they do not have interest in my flat and no loan has been taken there on. Please guide.

as you are not a part of HUF on records, the question of your consent does not arise. you may consult a lawyer with papers to avoid future troubles.
