Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hi,
My father gifted me the property which was self acquired by him.
He had made a condition that I have to build house in the above said property and that I should not sell it to anyone.
It was a registered gift deed . He had also mentioned that no family members can claim share including himself. He expired. I sold the property after 5 years of his expiry and bought agricultural land. My sister is claiming share in the property. Will I be liable to pay her.

Dear Sir / Madam,
If your father has gifted his title to a plot of land to you, your sister cannot claim any legal right therein. No, you are in no way liable to your sister.
Regards,
