Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
iam appointed as a temporary lecturer in a government engineering college in odisha for six month but continuing as such since more than five years .is there any legal help to regularise my service and permanent appointment.

Dear Sir / Madam,
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has clearly laid out that a lecturer / professor can be on probation for a maximum period of one year. His / her services will be deemed to be on permanent cadre if he / she has been in continuous service for a period exceeding the probationary period limited to maximum one year or more. You should lodge a written complaint to the concerned Registrar of the University citing the UGC rules for regularization of employment and grade fitment.
