Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
I had issued a cheque of 360000 to one of my friend . I was libal to give him this amount . But since he was in some financal issue he told me that i need it in cash urgently i will give u the checqu back so i pad him cash in two part 100000 and 260000 . i paid him last payment on 08-09-2013 and the cheque date was 14-09-2013 . when i asked him to return the cheque he tried to avoid me so i stopped the cheque on 16-09-2013 reason mentioned was misplaced . Yesterdy he came to my house and said that you havent paid anything and i m depositing the cheque . i dont have any proof that i had given him the cash and except cheque he also dont have anything . what to do in this case ?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Since your friend is denying having received the cash, the best way forward is to lodge a Police complaint, and let the Police intervene and sort out the matter. Tumhare dost kay hosh thikanay aajayenge.
