if i killed a hooker what would happen if i told the cops that she fell

First of all does not matter in what job person working, killing somebody is a crime. You can tell whatever you want to police, however they will investigate it, and if they find sufficient evidendence to prove the action is murdering somebody, does not matter what you say, you will be arrested.
