Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
I am the landlord of a building situated in Thane, Maharashtra.One of the lessee who has flat of about 550 sq.ft and lease agreement of 99 years has shown his interest to vacate the flat and sell it to me. Please suggest me how much should i quote him and what is the right approach for such deals.

Dear Sir,
You should take into consideration the following factors to enable you to decide :
a) the remaining lease period of the Agreement; or
b) whether you are considering redevelopment of the building in the near future, if the building is very old and you are keen to have more of your own free owned area; or
c) whether you feel that you can gain by refurbishing the flat and giving it on an 11 months Agreement for Leave and License (ALL) at the prevailing market lease charges of flats in the vicinity.
