Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Hi, Is it legal to photograph some one / many in a public place?

I know its not polite in a mannerism sense, but is there any law that says I cannot photograph a person/ a crowd at a public place?

Or do I need the permissions from the people being photographed? Or from anyone who objects?

In case I need permissions, If nobody objects, does it imply permission is given?

You may not need any permission to photograph a crowd but you must have the consent of the individual to click his or her photo . In case of an individual even if he or she does not object then even you must acquire his or her consent. You may drop in a detailed query at [email protected]
