Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

I am living in a house built by my father 23 yrs ago. My father is no more.

The house is having ground floor and first floor.I am living in the first floor.

The house is in my mother's name, she is alive.

My younger sister lives in the ground floor.

I have one elder brother and two younger sisters,of which one is living in the ground floor.

My mother owns the building.

If she has to sell the house has she to take the consent of all her children?

If she has already willed it to whomever she likes, can i be asked to vacate in any strategical way, according to law?

Please advice

Dear Sir / Madam,

NO, your mother does not need to take the consent of all her children to sell the house.

NO, a Will takes effect only on the demise of its maker, and the title is only transferred vide a Probate from the Court, so as a matter of courtesy, you cannot be asked to vacate the house.

Regards,
