A Gift is Deemed to be a Conveyance, however, without any consideration.
For making a Gift of immovable property of Rs. 100 and above, you will be required to execute a Registered Gift Deed.
The important provisions in Gift Deed is making of gift and acceptance of gift. The gift deed must have the recitals that donor has transferred the gifted property and donee has accepted the gift property.
