if a man is working in government sector and he having two wives so is it legal,but before getting job he already had two wives

Dear Sir / Madam,
Although having two wives is legally prohibited in India, there is no connection whatsoever between the job and the marital status of the employee. Job, be it private or in the Government, is granted purely on merit, based upon the qualification and relevant experience that the person possesses, and is not dependent on whether the employee has one or two wives.
