Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Right of married daughters on father's property.
I have bought 4 acres of agriculture land from my father-in-law, about 15 years back. Now my wife's elder sister is saying, as it was her father's property, she will have share in it and asking for the compensation. Both me and my co-brother married before 1980. What law says here? Will my sister-in-law will have any share in the property?
