Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
i am a member of co op society in mumbai, i have given my flat on rent, below to my flat severe leakage problem arise. i have given three time permission to check n solve the problem, even he has renovate my toilet on his own fund, now after a long time still leakage persist in his flat & he is making me responsible for the same. he gone to police station, & approached society. society issued notice to me for discontinution of my flat water supply. Is this is lawful? he also demanding 50 50 cost. please advice me

1) If the leakage of the lower floor due to the problem in ur flat,
u have to get it repaired at ur own cost not the under neath flat owner.
2) In fact, the lower floor flat owner need not get ur leakage repaired causing
problem. He is right in taking necessary steps. The total cost has to be borne
by u not even sharing needed.
