Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

i taken some money on interest from a person..ex-sonu..as days passed and now year passed i was giving him the interest on monthly basis and had given the interest+actual money ..but had never got any written proof or any proof.....as i stopped giving him the money, sonu loaged a case on me....what should i do as i have no records or proofs.i have to take care of family but the case is disturbing my workcycle.

and you must have paid the amount in cash too. how could you keep paying the amount without getting a receipt. He has outamaeted you.there is no option but to contest the case with whatever evidence you can assemble. goodluck.
