Petitioner has filed a case against my friend under "SJ - SPECIAL CRIMINAL APPLICATION - UNDER ARTICLE 226 - QUASHING OF PROCEEDINGS / FIR / CRIMINAL COMPLAINT ETC."

Can you please let me know what this means and what is Article 226 in layman language.
