Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Is Portuguese civil procedure 1867 followed by Goa state challengable under PIL
does it violates Article 14 Article 19(1) eand g and Article 21 ,It violates fundamental rights of a person
Isnt this rule against the declaration of human rights and directive principle of state policy

Dear Sir / Madam,
The State of Goa follows the Uniform Civil Procedure Code and not the Portuguese Civil Procedure Code 1867 which has been abolished since Goa was liberated from Portuguese rule way back in the year 1961 when the Indian Annexation of Goa took place. When the entire Portuguese Civil Code itself has been abolished, it is senseless to now file a PIL stating that it violates fundamental human rights.
