power of attorney not signed by the donee , if valid?

Dear Sir / Madam,
If the power of attorney (POA) is in respect to the receipt of a gift of immoveable or immoveable property by the donee, the signature of the POA holder on the registered Gift Deed will serve as a valid acknowledgement.
