Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
IS there any remedy to tenant if he is occupying a residential house and using it purely for residential purpose and landlord file an ejectment petition for commercial purpose for the same premises???/

Dear Sir / Madam,
Landlord-tenant arrangements are no longer recognized since 1985 and have given way to Agreement for Leave and License (ALL). If the tenure of the Agreement for Leave and License between the licensor and you as the licensee has already expired, you have no locus standi or other alternative, but to immediately vacate the residential house.
