Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pakistan

Hi,

I am a resident of Karachi and I had a quarrel with my neighbor who is known for his bad temper and unreasonable behavior in the entire complex. He threatened to beat me in the future. It is a petty issue really but I am sick and tired of his behavior and I wonder if I should call the police or register an FIR against the man should he poses a threat to me or my family? They harassed me, used abusive language and definitely wanted to fight but I did not respond. I do not want to fight. My wife was watching and the incident has had a negative impact on her. I wonder if I can get any advice and should I go to the Police the next time they attempt to harass us or pick up a fight? Your advice will be highly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Shahid

in this situation contact a local lawyer ask him to move the court of magistrate seeking bond of good behavior from this person. magistrate will in the light of your complaint, through the local police will investigate the matter and shall ask him to appear before his court and furnish the surety bond for future good behavior and will restrain him for not doing or cause it to be done, those acts which you apprehends.

dont be afraid, just have fear of Allah in your heart and mind and all the itchy matters will be vanished.
