Dear Sir, thanks for your advice, And I said the WILL would be a registered one at registar office then what is probate ? Do my brothers wife or the child have any sort of claim as the property "WAS" ancestral. plz clear our doubt. once again thanks

if the land is an ancestral property then it cannot be given by way of will.

Dear Sir / Madam,
It is immaterial whether the property is ancestral or self-acquired. For a Will to legally take effect, the executor named in the Will has to obtain a Probate (a court order) to effect the transfer of title in the name of the beneficiary named in the Will.
