Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hi Sir, I am working in Dubai for the past 5 years, my parents have separated 3 years back under mutual consent without any divorce, I am taking care of my mom by sending her monthly expenses, I stopped sending money to my father as he got married again and running his own business with good profits, now he is warning me to send money otherwise face the consequences, I am heavily in debt here and don't have enough money to send him, is there any law in India now where he can claim monthly maintenance from me, how far can he go for this and what are my mother's rights to get from him. Please advice.
