Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hello sir,
I have some land near the river side.I am staying in gulf.My parents are there in kerala-India.During this rainy season almost 5 cents of land was drained away.This happened mainly because a new bridge has been constructed,as a result water flow has increased downwards towards my area.One year before the slope towars the river side was covered with stones (made by an irresponsible contractor) was famous for bribes and he didnt construct it according to the way we suggested.This also was drained away in rain.Can we file a case for the damage of my property?Can I appeal for loss of property and cultivation in that land?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Although living by the riverside has its plus and minuses, you should certainly file a compensation suit for loss of property and loss of cultivation of land before the Lok Adalat Committee in Thrissur, Kerala.
