Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Hi Sir/Madam

I have been living in Australia since 2004 and recently discovered that my father disowned me from the ancestral property locatd in Punjab, India (starting before my great grandfather) in August 2012 by advertising in a local newspaper back in Punjab, India. The land (17.5 acres) in its entirety upon which stands a house and 7 shops was then transferred to my younger brother by paying 1% stamp duty applicable to blood relation transfer (others call it registered). All of my relatives are with them because my parents have pictured me and my wife wrong in front of them and every one of them is threating me not to enter the village.

Could you please advise if i could get back my share and how long it might take for the legal battle to last. Please note that i have a sister who has not got anything out of this property and she is contend with it. My father still owns 2.5 acres of land which he falsely transferred to my maternal uncle in 2004 and have now got (in 2012) that back to show he has bought that piece of land. Please help
