Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Hello sir/mam,

i want to ask one legal suggestions from you that one of my friend has given rs 50000 to one people for government job and that people has assured that your government job is final and the rest amount you have to give after getting joining letter and that people has given cheque of rs 50000 in behalf of that cash as a security and it was around eight months but yet he has not received any joining letter and the problem is that the person who has taken money has offered me that government job but i am not interested and i have told to my friend he was interested at that time and i have told to my friend that dont give him money before work then also he has. given that amount as advance and now my friend is asking to return that amount now he is refusing and my friend is thrratning me that i will lodge a fir against you also because you have introduced me and i dont know when he has done that transaction i am requesting that person also to return money but he his ignoring that i just want to confirm is my involvement is in this ? would my friend able to lodge a fir against me or not without any proof ?and if he would be able to do that what i should do after. that ?

Dear Sir / Madam,

It is absolute foolishness to pay any monies to anybody who promises to fetch you a job. And if at all you feel the need to pay, always agree to pay after the job is done, never before. Police action is recommended for recovery of the monies paid and to settle the issue.
