Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
I am from tamilnadu - would like register a legal suit to claim 28 centrs of land whose guide line value is rs.3500 per cent. how much i will have pay stamp duty to the court ? stamp duty is based on guide line value or on market value? please clarify.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Stamp Duty is payable based on the prevailing Ready Reckoner Rates for land and property available with the Tehsildar / District Registrar's Office in your locality. Ready Reckoner rates of Stamp Duty are usually based on the guideline value.
