Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

i am a tenant of chennai, my landlord purposely not providing water supply, last 6 months ,telling no water.but other tenants getting water continuously.the time of agreement he told 24 hrs water supply.water charges increased from 250 to 350. iam paying regularly.the motor swich he shifted inside house.we are having 2 western path and one indian style laterine.last 6months no proper water supply,we are store some water and take in the buckets. i dont want to go any dispute . so i am not asking with landlord. he very much shouted at my wife and children.i am in the 1st floor,another tenant in the 2nd floor they get water but iam in the 1st floor not getting water.he is telling to my wife come down to get water.befor 6months we get water 24 hrs.he provided 2 giesure pts .we fixed one giesure but this winter we can not get hot water. what i have to do.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I think you need to ponder on the reason for the landlord taking such actions. Thinking aloud, could it be that the rental compensation for your premises that you are paying to the landlord is too meager, and that you are just paying the water charges and increases thereof ? Besides, since summer has started, there maybe a possibility of paucity or shortage of water supply in the entire locality till the monsoons. I suggest you along with all the other tenants should take up the matter with the landlord to check whether a bore well is required to enhance the water supply.
