In the year 1960 orally a plane agreement has done in one rupee stamp is it valid in the court or not plz reply

Dear Sir / Madam,
If in the year 1960, the prevailing value of stamp as per the Indian Stamp Act, 1881 to be affixed on the Agreement written on plain paper was Re. 1/-, the Agreement is valid, else it is invalid. To the best of my knowledge, only revenue stamps of Re. 1/- are available. The minimum value of judicial and non-judicial stamp paper available then was Rs. 5/-, Rs. 10/- Rs. 20/- Rs. 50/- Rs. 100/- and so on. In all likelihood, the Agreement you are referring to would have been inadequately stamped rendering it invalid.
