Legal Question in Construction Law in India
Hello, I have shop in pagri system in Mumbai, India. now, all area is went for reconstruction, keeping shops on main road, construction done for shops backside. Now, builder is assiging shops to everyone where our shop of 170 sq ft and they are saying 70 sq ft. (I have agreement also with 170 sqft). In case if they don't agree on 170 sq ft. what action is required from my side in legal ways. I won't leave shop in frontside (that to be demolished after backside construction done). Please help.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should legally sue the Developer to provide you with a shop of same or 15% to 20% more area at the same front location, if he insists that you to occupy shops at the back side of the reconstructed building.
