Legal Question in Construction Law in India

sir,

My father is making a bare house in front of my home. But my neighbor has complained in police station that the construction is illegal. he is saying that the land is his and police stopped the work till now. he has not taken any proof, legal document or any stay order from the court.

can police stop the work without any stay order or legal document.

Sir,

Advice me what action may be taken by me. I have had all the document regarding that property.

Pls sir, advise me as soon as possible

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should go and submit copies of construction plans approved by the local Municipality to the Police in support of your contention that the construction is approved and authorized.
