Legal Question in Construction Law in India
Sir,
I'm purchasing a new build house in Chennai. Totally I need to register the property for 20L to get Home Loan. My question is can I register land for 10L with 8% registration fee and building construction agreement for 10L with 2% registration fee?

Dear Sir / Madam,
You are advised to pay the prevailing stamp duty and registration fees as informed by the Tehsildar / Registrar. If segregation of land and building is permitted, you may avail of the concession.
