Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
I had applied for an internet connection more than a year ago with tikona digital services, but a representative from their company duped me of rs.2000 and i never got a connection. I complained about this to tikona, they took a whole year to verify this. I wanted my money back but they said they can't give me my money back but they can provide me with an internet connection of the same amount, so they sent me another representative of theirs, but he said the internet signal strength isn't good here, so he can't install internet here. Now, i wanted my money back, so they said they will send me cheque but they haven't sent me anything yet. This whole process took place in more than a year, and i had to email them several times to get their response. What should i do now?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Simply take a photocopy of the payment receipt of Rs. 2,000/- and lodge an FIR against the Company in the local police station so that the matter is resolved within 3 days.
