Dear Sir / Madam,
If you are letting out your flat for residential use on an Agreement for Leave and License (ALL), as per the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act and Rules framed thereunder, all that the Society can charge you is 10% of the monthly Maintenance Charges as "Non Occupancy Charges". The Chairman is wrong in demanding a deposit of Rs. 20,000/- from you, for letting out your flat for residential use.
Regards,
