Dear Madam / Sir,

No, the housing Society cannot charge extra money from you for usage of the lift. Simply ask the Secretary and the Chairman in the meeting, that if it was he and his wife who was residing on the top 10th floor of the building, and if his wife were to regularly orders spices, cereals, groceries on telephone from the shops in the nearby vicinity, and the shopkeeper regularly sends his workman virtually daily to supply the order, would the Secretary tell the shopkeeper's workmen to climb up the stairs and not use the lift? The same logic applies to your tuition students who are visiting your residence for group tuition.

Regards,
