Initial Promises: During recruitment, HCL recruiters and HR assured me that I would work in HR, finance, and admin domains. However, my internship involves call center tasks, which are not aligned with my career aspirations in finance.
Reason for Joining: I joined HCL due to its excellent reputation and my desire to pursue a career in finance. I am a recent high school graduate and paid the course fee with the expectation of a career path in line with these goals.
Escalation Attempts: I have raised this issue internally, but the responses have been unsatisfactory. They asked for written proof of the promises made, which I do not have.
Future Role Concerns: I have been informed that my role post-internship will remain similar to my current call center duties, which contradicts the initial promises.
Request for Guidance: I feel trapped and misled by this situation and am seeking your legal advice on how to address this issue and ensure I am given a role that aligns with my career aspirations and the promises made during recruitment.
