Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
Hello I am kumbhar from Dhawadi Tal wai I want to file a case in consumer court against LIC. An agent of LIC has signed the agents documents which are submitted to lic for policy. I have received the original policy certificate. The policy is in force for 2 and half years. currently I noticed that the papers submitted by the agent were not signed by the registered agent but her husband who is not an appointed agent.T he husband has signed in the name of her agent wife. The agent has fooled
the lic and me. Now I want compensation from lic for fooling me. Is it possible to claim compensation? The proofs are available. The husband has died one year ago.

The fact is that you received the certificate from LIC and LIC has no fault at all. At the best you can lodge a police complaint against the person.
